Baked Buffalo Cauliflower

Ingredients Baked Buffalo Cauliflower

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour or rice flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce

Directions 

1. preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Prepare a large sheet pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.

2. in a large bowl combine the flour, water, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.

3. carefully cut the cauliflower florets into bite sized pieces and toss the cauliflower in the prepared flour mix. Place cauliflower onto your prepared sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, turn the cauliflower half way through.

4. while the cauliflower bakes, add your butter to a saucepan on low heat and mix in the hot sauce until butter is just melted and remove from heat and into a large bowl.

5. when the cauliflower is done, place into the sauce bowl and toss to coat.

6. return the sauced cauliflower to your sheet pan and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until crispy.

7. remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

8. serve with your favorite dressing, carrots, celery, and cucumbers.
