Ingredients:
- 4 whole-wheat medium tortillas
- 1 cup seasoned tomato sauce
- 8 slices low-fat mozzarella cheese
- 4 cups vegetables such as broccoli, mushrooms, or peppers, sliced
- fresh basil leaves to taste
Directions:
- Place ¼ cup tomato sauce on each tortilla, spreading thinly.
- Place vegetables on top of sauce.
- Place the cheese (2 slices per pizza) and the basil on top of the vegetables.
- Cook pizzas in skillet, grill or preheated 350° oven. In skillet, place each pizza one at a time on non-stick skillet, and cook on oven top, covered; if baking in oven, place in non-stick baking pan or in greased baking pan; if grilling, place on top of special non-stick aluminum foil.
- Cook until cheese is melted and crust appears crunchy.
Note:
Vegetables can be boiled or steamed prior to adding to pizza.
