Asparagus in Pesto Sauce

Ingredients:

2 cups asparagus
1 cup fresh basil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 bag of pine nuts (2oz)

Directions: 
  1. Wash and trim asparagus.
  2. Take 2 cups of water to a boil in a wide pan (wide enough to fit the asparagus).
  3. Place asparagus in boiling water for a couple of minutes just to get lightly softer.
  4. In multi-processor, mix basil, salt, olive oil and the pine nuts and mix it well until become a loose pasty mixture.
  5. Place asparagus in serving dish, add pesto. Serve warm.
