National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators - (NCBDE)  
Mission of the NCBDE is to promote excellence in the profession of diabetes education through the development, maintenance, and protection of the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential and certification process.

American Nursing Credentialing Center - (ANCC) 
Mission is to promote excellence in nursing and health care globally through credentialing programs and related services. One credential they oversee is the new Board Certified - Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) credential.
